George Pengas graduated with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from De Montfort University in 2007. During his studies, he showed keen interest in treating injuries arising mainly from sports and general rehabilitation, exercise and health, applied physiology and psychology classes. Through these, George realize the passion he had to help people achieve their goals in fitness and general sport and rehabilitation. Thus, he continued his studies by obtaining a Masters in Physiotherapy at Essex University.
Moreover, during his studies and stay in England, he worked in various hospitals for about two years, where he gained experience and improved his skills in the field of orthopedics, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation.
Coming to Cyprus, before opening the George Pengas Physio, he worked as a physiotherapist in other physiotherapy practices and football teams. The last four years has worked with many athletes athletics and other sports.
Also, since last year he also teaches in the department of the University of Hertfordshire situated in Cyprus and more particularly in Physiotherapy degree .
His aim is to remain aware of new treatment techniques and empowerment to restore wanting to develop further skills by taking part in various seminars.
Finally, since he is also an athlete (triathlete and water polo player) , having participated in the Cypriot national team triathlon and Cypriot national water polo team, he is able to understand the needs of injured athletes and to help them overcome their injuries the soonest possible .
